Experience your media double in a futuristic sketch!
Have you ever existed as a drawing in the style of futurism? The Soma Mapping 2 installation makes it possible.
Reproduce yourself in the style of Marcel Duchamp’s famous painting Nude, Descending the Stairs in a double projection.
Soma Mapping 2 is an interactive installation by Taiwanese artist Jia-Hua Zhan, a fellow at the Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Art as part of our annual exchange scholarship with the Digital Art Center in Taipei. Visitors can actively control her silhouettes of dots and lines with their movements. The result is a dynamic, digital drawing accompanied by sounds that react to the presence of the participants in the space.
After numerous international performance arts festivals,

Also on the Night of the Museums: hourly dialogic guided tours through the current exhibition Hörner/Antlfinger: Discrete Farms – The meat has to come from somewhere.
With their multifaceted installation factory≠farm, Ute Hörner and Mathias Antlfinger take an artistic approach to the gigantic fattening facilities in the Oldenburg region and convey this current political issue to the public with unexpected, ironic and yet unambiguous works. Our romanticized image of the farm is juxtaposed with the reality of the automated meat production industry.
