The open format of the LONG NIGHT OF MUSIC fosters dialogue with all interested parties. At various venues along Peterstraße in Oldenburg, the partners of klangpol – Netzwerk Neue Musik Nordwest will present their ensembles and the artists active there in numerous short concerts, installations, and performances, both indoors and outdoors. The contemporary art music scene in the Northwest can be experienced in a concentrated form, in all its richness and enormous diversity.
The program is aimed at audiences of all ages and presents a musical range rarely found in traditional concerts. Composed music is featured alongside improvised music, and installations alongside performance art and music theater. The program features professionals, semi-professionals, and amateurs.
For the Long Night of Music, the House of Media Art presents the exhibition Antiphon by Noah Berrie, as well as three concerts each by Noah Berrie and Johannes Haase / Nicolás Rupcich. More information is available on our events page.
