Lilia Pérez Romero: “Frontera V.02”
Introduction by Susanne Jaschko: “The interactive portrait in media art”
As part of the Artist in Residence Program of the Netherlands Media Art Institute(NIMk), Mexican artist Lilia Pérez Romero is currently working on the interactive installation Frontera V.02. The work can be described as an interactive portrait: The viewer has the opportunity to come into contact with a virtual person through touch. On this evening, the artist will give an insight into her research and development work, on which Frontera V.02 is based, and discuss the history of the (interactive) video portrait.
