Micromusic
“low-tech music for high-tech people”
Micromusic
Micromusic jam their way through found-footage material with their Gameboys, mini-samplers and laptops and have already put many an ear into ecstasy and got many a dance leg swinging.
The Swiss group Micromusic has made many friends from the computer game scene with their internet platform and performances, because they compose with Gameboys or old Atari consoles. The creators of this low-tech music community, carl (Gino Esposto), wanga (Paco Manzanares) and bacon (Michael Burkhardt), jam their way through micromusic, current pop and foundfootage material with Gameboys, mini-samplers and laptops in their concert on March 16, 2007 and have already set many an ear to ecstasy and many a dancing leg to swinging. After a break of more than 2 years, the 3 friends can now be seen live again for the first time – in Oldenburg at the Edith-Ruß-Haus for Media Art.
Admission is free.
