What do media artworks actually look like when the power is off? And how does the spook get into the works?
With a flashlight, we want to take a closer look at the artistic works in the exhibition “The digital uncanny” and see what exactly gives us the creeps and what changes and tensions arise between electrically “animate” (electricity on) and “inanimate” (electricity off) art. So arm yourselves with lamps to go on a very special exploration tour with the Edith-Russ-Haus education team.
